Pastor Jim has served as our Senior/Lead Pastor since 2018. He and his wife, Rita, have served together in ministry for 39 years, while Jim did begin his preaching ministry 40 years ago. 

After serving 16 1/2 years in youth and music ministry, they felt that God had called them to plant, revitalize and lead churches as Senior Pastors. Because of his experience in communicating to youth, Pastor Jim's preaching/teaching style is very practicle, applicable and easy to understand, while always having a secure foundation in the truths of the Bible. (And sometimes a little out of the ordinary, creative and humorous.)

His passion is to help people realize they have a purpose and hope in life which can only be discovered through relationship with Jesus Christ. It is his desire, along with the vision of the church, to see the lost saved, the saved set free, the free restored, and the restored fulfilled, living the life that God created them to live - a live destined to be like Jesus, serving Christ and others.

He is the father of two sons and two daughter-in-law's, all of which are actively serving in their home churches (too far away for his liking). He has three grandchildren, four dogs, and enjoys getting outdoors - hunting, fishing, or just running around in his Jeeps.

He is a graduate of Advantage College - Bachelor of Theology;  Southwestern Christian University - Master of Ministry;  Oral Roberts University - Master of Divinity, Doctor of Ministry.

Rita began serving Harvest Church with her husband, Jim, in 2018.

On most Sunday's you'll find her helping get everything in order for the children's and connections departments, before leading Harvest Kids. During the week she wears many hats. She assists with Harvest Church's daycare, Creation Station, by making sure that every aspect is operating to the highest standards, above and beyond what is state mandated. 

Rita is a licensed Marriage and Family Counselor. Having received her education from Liberty University and Light University.  She is also a gifted teacher, with a practical and sound theological background from Agape School of World Evangelism, Little Rock, AR.

She loves her children, and her grandchildren. Her favorite hobby is probably being "Gigi" to her three grandkids. She enjoys her little dogs, cooking, shopping, and a good crime drama.
